In Joseph Schumpeter’s vision of capitalism, innovative entry by entrepreneurs was the force that sustained long-term economic growth, even as it destroyed the value of established companies that enjoyed some degree of monopoly power.

My senior economic thesis was on Joseph Schumpeter’s “creative destruction”.  Couldn’t be more relevant to the work I’m surrounded by today.  Break down the walls, bring your solution to the masses - with creativity comes beautiful destruction.
