Driving through the Santa Cruz mountains last night, I began to wonder what the crazy, orange glow was billowing up a few miles into the woods.  NPR confirmed this morning that most of Santa Cruz is on fire. Gulp.  The fire started at 7:15 last night and by this morning 2300 acres had burned.  The fire is 0% contained and hundreds of houses are being evacuated.
