I just dumped 16 ounces of water onto my laptop and I it’s working better now.  An errant left elbow knocked a full glass of water into the keyboard and after frantically flipping the laptop upside down and watching the water drain out I powered it off, and proceeded to watch water drip out for another 20 minutes.  Fingers crossed i then powered it back up, and watched it start-up faster than ever.

It’s like the laptops telling me I’m going to make you do work no matter what.
